When my kids were in the NICU I could not stop the milk and I filled up every freezer space possible but my kids also did the same and caught up to my production, using every bit. I remember it being such a relief to give them my milk while they were in the NICU and there wasn’t much else I could do. I would definitely have donated if we had extra and I had known of a program like this.

If I had one here, I promise you I’d wear it around the house sometimes when no one was home. And then forget I had it on and answer the door where the UPS man would burst out laughing and I’d say, “What???”

How prematurely was your baby born?

I never dreamed of winning a pageant, but I always wanted to be a princess because I wanted a tiara. I had several toy ones growing up but even as an adult I wanted a real one. So I wore on for my wedding because every woman is a princess on her wedding day.

Sometimes when I am home alone (which isn’t often) I still pull it out and put it on for a little while. :)
