If you’re a mommy or a daddy, chances are you’ve read the book, “If You Give A Moose A Muffin.”
And if you’ve read “If You Give A Moose A Muffin,” you know that it starts with the moose asking for a muffin and then some jam and then something else and something else until you’re back around to the muffin again.
One of the things the moose wants about halfway through the book is some old socks to make puppets.
This gave my kindergartner an idea yesterday.
This is the Mommy and Perry the Platypus Puppet Show.
These are also daddy’s (not so old) socks.
Which, with the way things go around here, will one day be the only clean socks in the house, and mommy and Perry the Platypus will end up face down in a stinky pair of Converse all day long.
These are the kinds of things that happen if you give a moose a muffin.
Or a kindergartner a marker and pair of socks.

I love the playfulness of this brilliant child….cute children’s (and some adults) show + being read to regularly + a parent willing to play= a fun imaginitive awesome child! Ya’ll rock!
Thanks, Bimma! ; )
And well put — as only a grandmother can!
